ZENITH: PIONEERS IN ITALY IN SECURIZATION ON BLOCKCHAIN

In a step in favor of financial innovation, Zenith Service conducted the first securitization transaction on Blockchain in Italy, using DLT technology "Algorand." This trial aims to increase transparency and traceability of loans and bonds up to 50 million euros.
Zenith replicated a traditional securitization on Blockchain, testing the technology through a "mirroring" process. Invoices and bonds were transformed into tokens, maintaining priority of payments. Zenith CEO Umberto Rasori explains that this experiment anticipates the next big technological shift, with the goal of fully digital securitizations through Blockchain.
The advantages are many, including the transparency and immodifiability of data guaranteed by the Blockchain. Rasori points out that every movement is recorded, offering complete traceability for securitized loans and issued securities. The vision of a digital financial future takes shape, opening up new perspectives even for regulators such as Bankitalia and Consob.
